01Who we are

Mahd Al-Hadath for Exhibitions and Conferences Co. (“Mahd”, “we”), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for the personal data collected through mahdevent.com. [Commercial registration number: to be added]

02Data we collect

We only collect what you submit through the contact form: name, organisation, email address, request type, related project and your message. Browsing the site does not require an account.

03Why we use it

We use your data to reply to your request, route it to the right team and follow up on the sponsorship, exhibiting or partnership opportunity you asked about. We do not use it for marketing without your separate consent.

04Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of the explicit consent you give when submitting the form, in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.

05Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share it with service providers working on our behalf, such as hosting and email, only as needed to provide the service and under contractual protection duties, or when a competent authority requires it by law.

06Transfers outside Saudi Arabia

The site is hosted by Hostinger on servers in the United Kingdom, with backups stored in Germany. Contact form requests are delivered through Google Apps Script to our Google Workspace mailbox and may be processed on Google servers outside the Kingdom. Your data may therefore be transferred outside Saudi Arabia. We apply the safeguards the law requires to this transfer. [For review by counsel]

07Retention

We keep contact requests for as long as needed to handle and follow them up, then delete or anonymise them. [Period: to be set]

08Your rights

You may access your data and obtain a copy, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to destroy it once it is no longer needed, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise these rights, email info@mahdevent.com.

09Cookies and analytics

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with an in-house tool that runs on the site’s hosting servers. It uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not keep your IP address or any identifier that points to you.

When a page opens, the tool sends: the page path, the name of the site you came from, if any (domain only), the page language, the device type (phone, tablet or computer), and the campaign source (utm_source) if the link has one. These are kept only as daily totals that cannot be linked to a person, for up to 25 months, and are used only to improve the site’s content.

If you turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, the tool sends nothing.

10Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and restricted access.

11Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
